Jeremy Maclin Out Against Chicago Bears

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin will not play against the Chicago Bears Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.

Maclin was limited in practice throughout the week because of a shoulder injury that temporarily sidelined him last week in Oakland.

However, there wasn't too much concern around Baltimore when he was listed as questionable to play. Turns out, the injury is bad enough that Maclin can't suit up.

Maclin leads the Ravens in targets (28) and receiving touchdowns (2) this year, and has caught 16 passes for 159 yards. He scored a 48-yard touchdown in Week 1.

Maclin's absence leaves Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Michael Campanaro as the top three wide receivers.

Wallace has broken out the past two games, including two plays over 50 yards last week. Perriman has four catches for 26 yards, but hauled in a clutch 13-yard catch in Oakland that the team is hoping will jumpstart his season.

It could be even more reason for Baltimore to lean on its run game, even though it won't have Terrance West (calf).

Ravens defensive tackle Brandon Williams (foot) is out, which isn't a big surprise considering he was listed as doubtful. Carl Davis (thigh) is also out.

That means Baltimore will lean on Willie Henry, who has been impressive the past two weeks, and undrafted rookie Patrick Ricard. Both defensive ends, Chris Wormley and Bronson Kaufusi, are active.

Cornerback Jimmy Smith (Achilles) will play, which is good news after soreness knocked him out of last week's game early. The Ravens will have their full cornerback corps.

Tight end Maxx Williams (ankle) will also play after missing the last three games. He should help with blocking on the line.

The Ravens will have yet another starting offensive line combination as Matt Skura (knee) is sidelined. Rookie fifth-round pick Jermaine Eluemunor is expected to start in his place, and veteran Tony Bergstrom is also active.

Baltimore's other inactives are rookies Tim Williams (thigh) and cornerback Jaylen Hill (thigh).

The Ravens not only lead the NFL in players on injured reserve, but smaller nagging injuries have also piled up. All seven scratches are because of injury, meaning every healthy player will suit up against the Bears.

Conversely, the Bears don't have any starters on their inactives list. Their scratches are offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu, defensive lineman John Jenkins, linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, former Ravens running back Taquan Mizzell, quarterback Mark Sanchez, linebacker John Timu and wide receiver Markus Wheaton.
